RTV: Our church band session after choir practice

Royal's Television aka "RTV," is a section solely dedicated to videos for your pleasure of viewing. Heres a first look at our jam session after choir practice yesterday. Def will be working on doing more of these posts and eventually bringing them in better quality, maybe even creating a project myself.:) ENJOY!!!!

Faith: Salvation

Received an email from my deacon highlighting the notes from a bible study I was unable to attend.  I pray that it is a blessing to you as well.

Salvation

Three things you must have
Faith
Love
Hope
Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints, For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; (Colossians 1:4, 5 KJV)

Salvation is not given by man only by God

Be holy for I am Holy.

What does "be" mean? It's a present word. "Should be"
become, became, be

How do you be Holy? Holiness should be a way of life that describes who you are.
By walking by his word that your steps will be pleasing in his sight

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: (Colossians 3:10 KJV)

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. (Ephesians 4:23, 24 KJV)

Renewed Mind
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:1, 2 KJV)

You must change in order for God to do something new in you.

Hide the word of God in your heart and apply it to your life

Morning Glory: #1

Everyday we are welcomed with an opportunity to do better than we did yesterday. Each day presents to us a challenge and new opportunities to accomplish our heart's desire. We should be thankful, and realize the blessing God has given us, because tomorrow is never promised.

Living in North Dakota, due to its completely flat landscape(winds are horrible.lol), I recently began appreciating the beautiful images that come with the rising of the sun. So I plan to contribute a "Morning Glory" section, to share and remind others of our blessings. Enjoy!!

Inspiration: A day without shoes

Inspiration can be a strong factor in the successful pursuit of life and happiness. It is the spark that causes one to begin a new quest or challenge, in hopes of adding something new in their life. My latest spark has been that of Toms Shoes and campaign for One Day Without Shoes.  For those that do not know, Blake Mycoskie is the founder and Toms is a company that utilizes the "one-for one" concept in its product and services. Simply, for every item sold, they donate the same to those in need.

After browsing the Toms website, my spark of inspiration came when I found out about the Day Without Shoes campaign. To bring awareness, they rally for volunteers to spend a day without shoes. Only problem was the day was not scheduled to be held until a later date. Feeling the inspiration I decided to do it on my own.

The experience was great and was certainly an eye opener for me. Without shoes I  noticed my mind picking up on things that I normally would be thinking about. During this day, I did my normal routine, which consisted of errands, running, and spending time with friends. Here are a few pictures taken on my running and time of reflection. I will be ordering a pair of my own Toms, soon! Enjoy...
