Listen: Lecrae[Desperate]

Going through the struggles of day to day life is a mission of itself. Sometimes life pushes us into a corner where we have no choice but to look God and seek his direction. Desperation can be a hinderance but if used right and in faith, it can be a powerful tool against the enemy.

Here is a clip from an artist known as Lecrae. I must say I was hesitant to the influences of music outside my normal expectations but this artist certainly opened my ears to a new sound. Get the cd and I promise you will not regret it. From the beginning to the end, it all is a hit!!! Regardless of any social norms in this world, God always has presence in it all. 

Im Back

I know it has been a long time since my last post but I promise it wasn't my intentions. First let me say happy late Christmas and New Years! In case your wondering, I enjoyed mine as well accept the beginning of the new year.

So my new year didn't start off well at all. While at work my place was victim of to a robbery. Due to the fact, included in the things that were stolen was my laptop. It was certainly a big hit but all those things can be replaced and they will. This was the first time this has happened to me an I must say its an uncomfortable feeling. The thought that somebody was in the one place you feel safe is discomforting but I truly thank God I am still here able to speak about it.

For every problem, there is opportunity for growth. Although the robbery was negative, something positive came out of. I was able to see how good of friends I truly have. At a time where I was low and  unbalanced, my friends were there. More importantly, I know my God was there. The only thing I kept repeating to myself was "no weapon formed against me shale prosper."

In life we will be hit with the good and we will be slammed with the bad. That cycle takes place in lives all over the world, but its those who learn and overcome the bad that evolve to a greater form. In my recent posts I spoke about my theme for this year is "Evolution." I believe God has a sense of humor because soon as the new year started, he put before a challenge and while it was tough to take in, im able to smile and thank him for the blessings.
